The Anomalies inspector is insistent: I must return to the “original” way of recognizing and working with synchronicity
that I developed a long time ago. This centers on the understanding that
anomalies in our ordinary reality – as in dreams – can awaken us to a deeper
game. When the anomalies multiply, this can indicate that a consensual reality
is in jeopardy.
The risk of collapse increases with public perception of the
anomalies. Thus it might start with one person dreaming that fish are falling
from the sky. Then many people dream of this. It becomes a skit on late-night
TV, where the host and his guest are rained on by fish and a celebrity chef
rushes in with a skillet. Next we have a TV shrink talking about collective
delusions, and a TV psychic quoting Fortean phenomena. Soon there are reports
from far-flung places – from Texarkana, from Kyrgizstan, from Tuva – that fish are falling from
the sky.
“At this point,” says the Anomalies
inspector, “your reality starts to unravel."
I look up at the sky in case fish are falling.
"You taught us this long ago," she insists.
I have forgotten more than I know.
- This dream played through many awakenings. I had forgotten it until I found this summary report in muy journal for June 26, 2017.
