Stories of the Double usually take off from the idea of a dark twin who, split off and unrecognized by the protagonist, wreaks havoc. But in fact the Double may be a much more benign personality. I've had the sense, through much of this life, that I have a second self who is not confined to linear time and watches me from a slightly higher level of the multiverse. I've written about this in the past on this blog, and will write more about the whole subject in future books.Robert Mosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09231870716685877709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-925549664214256461.post-66686821213439897012010-09-27T18:42:48.761-04:002010-09-27T18:42:48.761-04:00Wanda - One of the great gifts of dreaming into Jo...Wanda - One of the great gifts of dreaming into Johnson's life was that this brought me, nearly 25 years ago, to his last home, where we first met (in this lifetime)and soon came to realize that we share trans-temporal connections. This was the start of an extraordinary friendship in more than one world. More than a few of your personal stories are worthy of Believe It Or Not, by the way :-)Robert Mosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09231870716685877709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-925549664214256461.post-3700383353482492622010-09-26T22:40:25.501-04:002010-09-26T22:40:25.501-04:00Robert - Your stories are always thoroughly well t...Robert - Your stories are always thoroughly well thought-out, self introspective, ego-less virtuous expressions of the best of what we have to offer as examples to inspire and rejoice of our connections and inter-connectedness (both, the good and the bad) in this human experience.Sal Ruizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13162634824906095642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-925549664214256461.post-34251668875073835052010-09-26T17:45:53.884-04:002010-09-26T17:45:53.884-04:00Ah, your moving Sir William to a new place in your...Ah, your moving Sir William to a new place in your library and to a new place in your life coincides with my leaving my 35 year career at Johnson Hall as the manager of Sir William's house. I'm leaving so much more than a career. I met Robert Moss at this house. I met Sir William Johnson when I was a child sitting in my bedroom in Memphis, Tennessee, cutting a Ripley's "Believe it or Not" cartoon from the paper. The cartoon featured Sir William and Johnson Hall. I tucked it into a New York State travel book my mother had coincidentally brought home from a book sale. I placed it on a page which also featured Johnson Hall and told my mother that I would someday live at that house. My mother just laughed. My position at Johnson Hall found me in an equally synchronistic fashion; and my lifelong friendship with Robert Moss began the day he walked into Johnson Hall, led there by dreams.

Words fail to express the gratitude of a path that led me to the place where I belonged meeting the people I needed as my family.Wanda Burchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15451187361106279187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-925549664214256461.post-9665561250693285702010-09-26T15:19:22.887-04:002010-09-26T15:19:22.887-04:00I really enjoy stories like the one you posted her...I really enjoy stories like the one you posted here. We do associate with other spirits in other times. The fact that you could read the histories of the people you associated with, and what you read agreed with what you experienced, indicates reality. Of course past lives might be involved, too. But not necessarily.
I am fascinated that you saw yourself as 14 different selves, counterpats of your soul, if I read that correctly.
I see myself as two selves, not entirely compatible with each other. But I have made contact with other spirits in different dimensions.
I like your post very much. My wife was able to describe in great detail many lives, including one in the 17th century that was most evocative but when I asked her (when she was in an altered state of consciousness) which life was the most important, she said "This one that I am living now."Worldbridgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02411263354180821936noreply@blogger.com
